Cawood House is a peaceful care home located near Brinnington train station. The 42-bed home has a large, beautiful garden for residents to enjoy during good weather. If the weather is on the rainy side, Cawood House has an indoor sensory garden and even a welcoming pub: the Cawood Inn.
Unique to Cawood House is a spa bathroom, allowing residents to feel pampered. Its state-of-the-art bath is designed to be both safe, accessible and enjoyable for elderly people.
Cawood House’s Activity and Lifestyle Facilitator makes sure residents are always entertained. As well as themed events and activities, there are plenty of opportunities for residents to get out and about around Brinnington.
Clean, well-organised, homely. I feel reassured that my dad is not lonely, as I know staff members visit his room regularly and involve him in the activities taking place. Staff are friendly, cheerful and always professional.
